How do we get started?

Hooray! We are so happy to meet you.

1. Create your personal Time to Pet account. We recommend filling out your profile on a computer; there are quite a few questions about your routine. We love details! The more you can provide, the better we can meet your pet needs.  Click here to create an account with Time to Pet.

2. Let's get together! A complimentary meet and greet is required with our manager or business owners before scheduling services. At your home, we'll go over the routine, talk scheduling, pet needs and grab keys (if needed)! To schedule your meet and greet, send over a few times and dates that would work for you, on the chat page of Time to Pet. 

3. With a few clicks, schedule walks on the Time to Pet scheduler.

4. Receive your report card from your scheduled visit. The photos will rival the peace of mind that comes from knowing your friend is doing great!



House Keys: We ask that you provide two keys to your home. One will go in a lockbox to be placed in a secure spot around your home - the other will go on file in our key vault for emergencies. You are more than welcome to use the lockbox, and  if you're on the fence about lockboxes in general, we can talk about this in more detail and find a solution for your home.

Garage Entry: We love garage entry but also ask for one key on file for emergencies (malfuncation, low batteries, obstructed sensor, etc). 

Building Fobs: We walk in many buildings in the Greater KC area, and we may already walk in yours and have a fob on file. Reach out for more info. :) 



Pet Pals KC has the most amazing team; they are hand-picked, pet-obsessed, and soooo friendly! We know that you will love them as much as we do. They are insured, background checked, and highly responsible. Your pet may meet a handful of pals, depending on your scheduling needs and walker availability. We prefer the same pal to come for every visit, and will do everything within our power to arrange the same pals every time. The benefit to having multiple pals is that we are available for whatever you may need, and we will always have a backup available if your primary pal has an emergency or vacation. 

You will likely never run into our walkers or sitters! If you'd like to meet the amazing person taking care of your pet, we can schedule a 15 - 20 minute introduction for $15, or schedule a  walk when you're home and say hello! 


Time to pet

Time to Pet  makes customized pet care a breeze. You will love how simple it is to use for communicating, scheduling walks, organizing your pet info,  and more. Payment is simple, and TTP uses bank-level encryption to keep your personal information safe. We communicate with our clients solely through Time to Pet for organization purposes; for the safety of our walkers, we do not give out pal phone numbers.

Time to Pet makes scheduling a breeze! 

You'll need to sign in, click SCHEDULE, + Request New Service, pick your dates, and + Submit Request. It's that easy! You'll receive a confirmation once we make sure your primary walker is free and add it to the schedule. You can also view which pal is coming over  for each visit on the SCHEDULE page. You can cancel walks if needed on the same page as well! 

Scheudle Blocks: You'll see that we have schedule in blocks of time. For instance, lunchtime is between 11am - 2pm. This helps our walkers create a route that benefits all clients. If you have a preferred time, that's no problem! Just add it to your client profile. If you havea  specific request for the day regarding feeding or time, you can add that to the notes for the walk when scheduling! 



Need to cancel? No worries, we totally understand! Same-day cancellations are a flat $5. If you cancel the day before, there is no charge. You can cancel on the SCHEDULE page of Time to Pet.


service areas

We walk from the Northland (15 minutes north from Downtown) to Overland Park, and from Shawnee Mission to the East Side.. and everything in between. 

We are always expanding our service area, so please reach out if you're curious if we're in your area! If we can't help, we might be able to get you in contact with another local business that can!



Walking Clients are billed on Fridays, and payment is due after your service has been completed. Time to Pet supports all credit cards and ACH transfer, and we also accept other online payment systems (like Paypal). We do not accept cash.



We will be there! Pet Pals is open on every holiday, with an additional $10  per visit charge for the Pet Pal visiting. Our major holdiays are : New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
