Hi!
I'm Harper (on the right) and I created Pet Pals KC with my partner, Carly (on the left) in 2016.
In middle school, I was the neighborhood house / pet sitter and continued to sit for friends, family, and neighbors... including working with Newman's Dog Training (we love you, Jena!).
Carly joined me on my visits, and she fell in love with all the pets, too! We had the very best clients and soon realized that this was something we wanted to do for the rest of our lives... and we feel lucky to be here!
Through word of mouth, our business grew bigger than the both of us. We took on our first pal, Shanique, our friend that was just as animal-obsessed as we were.. and the rest is history! Now we have a 30-person operation, full of the nicest humans (and pet photographers) in town!
Our intention has always been to provide clients with the exact peace of mind that we would want for our own kids. We have three pets of our own, two Maine Coon brothers (16 years old) and a 5 pound Bichon-Poodle (15 years old).
We could not imagine life without them, and that means getting the best care while we are away from home all day or on vacation. We hire Pet Pals KC!!
Over the years, we have learned so much about different breeds, types of animals, and people! We have been open every day of the year for 8 years and we are really proud to create the exact business that we would want to work for and the business we would want to hire for ourselves.
We would not be here today without our incredible clients (over 500 active clients in 2023) and our more-than-incredible PALS! The people of Pet Pals truly make our day and I know their reports will make yours, too.
